Isaiah 43:18-21: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19: Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20: The beast of the field shall honourme, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. 21: This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to reconcile man with his maker, the Almighty God. This is to enable man have a better relationship and work forthe Almighty God. After the creation of man and everything on earth, man was meant to live in obedience to the will of God. Unfortunately, man derailed by allowing himself to be deceived by the devil.
Man disobeyed God and Satan took over the control of the earth. Man was then left to fend for himself. Suffering enteredearth as sin engulfed the life of every man. God was not happy with the situation, especially with the life of man, so, He took a decision to send His only begotten Son to come to earth, recover and reclaim the lost kingdom. This made it possible for man to come back to God through the repentance of his sins. This is why John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
God sent His son Jesus Christ to reverse the evil devil has done in the life of man. Man is to accept and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in order to be delivered from the bondage of the devil. The condition of man after the encounter with the devil was that of a sinful state. God does not behold sin hence He separates Himself from any sinful man. It is as a result of this that man was ejected from the Garden of Eden where God provided everything for man’s comfort. Christ came to bring man back to God, therefore, the need for repentance and the rejection of sin. This means man must give his life to Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Saviour.
The repented heart allows the spirit of God to take over his being. It is, indeed, a new heart. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God will take over. It is for this that Apostle Paul wrote in 2Cor. 5:17-18 saying: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.18: And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” God will give a new life to any man who has accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. When we give our life to Christ we become new creatures and God begins to do new things in our lives, families, businesses and works. The spirit of God in the heart of any man brings blessing in all its ramifications. The life of any man changes for better if the spirit of God enters into his heart. God was emphatic in Haggai 2:18-19, when He declared: “Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it.19: Is the seed yet in the barn? Yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.” God is making a promise on this first month of the year, 2025 to bless you not minding whether it is the time of harvest, when the seeds are brought to the barn, or not. He will begin to bless you in this New Year. Whomsoever God is happy with,He blesses.
In the lead scripture, God advises we forget the old life, the year 2024 with its hardship, do away with our past sinful activities promising to do new things in our lives as we usher in the year 2025. He can make impossibilities possible such as bringing water in the desert and wilderness in order to give drink to His Chosen people. At the satisfaction of the people God expects praises, honour, worship from the people He created and cares for. There is nothing human beings can give to God other than praises, worship, obedience and honour. He demands honour from His people that is why He queries the Israelites in Malachi 1:6 thus: “A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? And if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name.
And ye say, wherein have we despised thy name?”In expectation of new things from God we must reverence and obey Him. In obedience to the word of God, we must repent from all known and unknown sins. We must serve Him by being obedient to His instructions and directives. We must preach the gospel to the perishing souls in order to win sinners and backsliders back to the kingdom. Our Lord Jesus Christ has given us the ministry of reconciliation. He did a new thing in our life by giving us a new life through the salvation of our souls, we are expected to declare the same word to other people outside the kingdom. We are expected to continue to win souls for Christ as we are converted to declare the word of reconciliation to other people and bring them to repentance in preparation for the rapture of the saints.
God has promised to do a new thing in our life, He has given us the lifeline to make rapture of the saints, we should therefore embrace Him, hold unto Him to continue to bless us while we continue to do the work of evangelism, winning souls for Christ. The work of God in our life must not be allowed to lie fallow. It must be put into practice to convert people to the kingdom of God, and as we do, God who has promised to bless us will continue to do good things in our life till the rapture of the saints takes place.
Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Stammering Tongue Loosed, Blessing Galore Followed
My name is Sister Favour. I want to thank God for genuine salvation and also His protection towards me.
I want to thank God for delivering me from stammering tongue. Before, I could not speak fluently, I would have to hit something or even jump up before saying what I wanted to say but now God has intervened and rolled away the stammering tongue. Praise the Lord!
I also want to thank God for healing my sister from breast lump. While the case lasted, she was always calling me on phone to complain about it but I would tell her that I was putting it in prayer and one day Daddy G.O. mentioned her case and I claimed it, and she is healed now. Praise the Lord!
And also for 4 months I was sick and couldn’t sleep, I had HBP, typhoid and malaria but after the program the Lord healed me from them all. Moreover, l thank God for changing my genotype from A,S to A,A. God of Chosen is so great.
To crown it all, I thank God for favouring me with the total sum of #305,000. Praise the Lord! It has been all round blessings.
