Another Ishaku’s aide resigns

The administration of Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has suffered another major setback, as one of his special advisers, Sale Pintim, resigned his appointment yesterday.

The Guardian gathered that some of the governor’s other aides are also warming up to quit the government, which Pintim said has lost focus under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Pintim, who dropped his resignation letter to the governor through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Anthony Jellason, blamed the governor’s failure to assign him a responsibility.

Lamenting Ishaku’s continued dishing out appointments without portfolios, he said: “Like the children of Israel in the wilderness, the government is moving in a circle without any progress.”
