Boy ‘without’ hole-in-the-heart thanks The Guardian, kind-hearted Nigerians

Eyitayo--….Underwent successful surgery in India

—REMEMBER two-year -old Eyitayo Agbo, whose story was published in The Guardian of January 29, 2015 while seeking financial assistance to carry out a heart surgery after being diagnosed of congenital heart disease? Well, thanks to kind-hearted Nigerians for giving life to young Eyitayo again.

In contrast to January when he looked so frail and barely opened his eyes, when the young boy was brought into the waiting room of The Guardian, Eyitayo was so full of life. He grabbed, The Guardian reporter’s pen, note pad and started scribbling on it, even as he chattered happily.

His father, Segun Agbo, who was so grateful to all who showed concern about the health of his son said: “I feel so happy now and I want to thank everyone who have given my son, Eyitayo, the chance to live again. I appreciate every individual. May God bless them, their families, and their businesses and may such incident never come their way.”

He also noted that the surgery, which was successfully conducted, was done on April 2, 2015 in india.
