More winners emerge in Fidelity promo

No fewer than 18 customers yesterday emerged winners at the ongoing Fidelity Bank Plc’s Get Alert promo.

The draw yesterday, which is the second in the series, gave out N8 million to six customers among other consolation prizes for 12 customers.

Speaking at the ceremony in Lagos, Regional Bank Head and Chairman, Promo Committee, Fidelity Bank, Obaro Odeghe, said the promo is also a way of ensuring that customers get cash.

“At a time of recession, putting cash in the pockets of our customers is one way to help address their needs. It is quite auspicious at this time to have cash given to customers,” he said.

Some of the winners who won consolation prizes of generator sets and refrigerators are Yekini Rauf, Taofik Kareem, Eledibe Uche, Kene Nwonye, Chinaka Timothy, Nma Kalu, Onochie Martin, Chinedu Nkenkete, Peter Shekina, Christian Eze, Oghenerukvwe Nelson and Leo-Ogbuefi Nneka.

“At every draw, we will have winners of N3million, N2million and N1million respectively. In the last draw, N9 million was won by various winners.

“The quarterly draw would be done next month, which is the grand prize of N5million. Every quarter a new winner would emerge to win the sum of five million naira”, he stated.

Other winners were Oyeleke Ruka, Christabell Nwachukuwu, Abdulkareem Gafar and a National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) member, Ojo Augustine won a million naira cash prize, while Ismaila Bello and Nse Usen won two million naira cash respectively.

“For Northern region and Lagos were we recorded enormous successes in those areas that is why the two million price is coming from them, he said.

“This is the sixth promo we have had in the last nine year, of course our track record of performance is there in the market domain. For what we have seen so far, its been quite encouraging, response from our customers and also the public have been overwhelming,” Odeghe stated.

Manager, Regulations and Monitoring, National Lottery Regulations Commission, Lagos zone, Nwakuche Durugo, described the promo as fair, transparent and clear, stating that winners who qualified were given equal chances.
