On Friday, January 27, curtains fell on the Senior Clergy Advanced Management Course Retreat held at the Ibru International Ecumenical Centre, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State.
The retreat, which began on January 16, with focus on the Anglican Pastoral Ministry in the 21st Century, drew participants within the Archbishops, Bishops, senior clergy and lay members of the Anglican Communion across the world.

Presided over by the Archbishop of the Niger Delta Province and Bishop of the Diocese of Ikwerre, the Most Rev. Blessing C. Enyindah, participants had a zoom meeting with the Primate of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Most Reverend Henry C. Ndukuba, who encouraged them to use the knowledge acquired to faithfully serve God and humanity.

The Primate also charged them to see the course as a channel to build ministerial bonds and friendship, adding that the course is for capacity building in the Church.

Referring participants to 2 Peter 3:17 and 2 Timothy 2:15, the Primate cautioned that the world is in the perilous times and that it is easy for anyone to via off in error.

He advised every child of God to strive to get God’s approval in whatever he/she is doing.

Archbishop Enyindah who is also the chairman of the committee commended the Primate on behalf of the clergymen for his fatherly love towards the clergymen and the body of Christ at large.

He assured the Primate of their continuous support to him and the church for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
