At product launch, commissioner lists low productivity as bane of agric

The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Toyin Suarau has identified low productivity as one of the challenges facing agriculture in the country. This, he said can be addressed with the newly launched Natural Clean Farming Technology.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Toyin Suarau has identified low productivity as one of the challenges facing agriculture in the country. This, he said can be addressed with the newly launched Natural Clean Farming Technology.

The new invention is to ensure an odour and flies free environment, which will assist fish, poultry and pig farmers, to address the issue of low productivity.Suarau, who stated this at the launch of the product in Lagos, noted that agriculture in the state is concentrated on those enterprises, where the state has the highest potential for development, which can be found in aquaculture, poultry business, as well as pig farming, which the natural clean product is aimed at addressing.

Explaining the benefits of the product, the President of TMD Synergy Africa, Mr. Victor Nwufoh, who noted that Natural Clean Farming Technology is an innovative product, said it would significantly improve animal health and create benefits throughout the food chain.
 
According to him, Natural Clean Farming for fish, poultry and pig farming allows farmers to farm without the use of chemicals, growth hormones and medicines and provides environment of farming without odours and flies in the farm.

“Introducing Natural Clean product to animals’ diets has been proven to significantly improve the digestive tract health and immune system and it is a natural alternative for antibiotics and growth promoters used in animal diets sector,” he added.
