As part of efforts to enhance quality learning among Nigerian youths and prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century digital world, Coscharis Technology has launched a mobile school device.

The product, which is branded Coscharis Mobile School (CMS) is an indispensable digital companion for pupils in Primary one to six, and for students in junior and senior secondary schools as well as their teachers.

Already, the Managing Director, Coscharis Technologies, Sunday Mukoro, disclosed that the Federal Ministry of Education, Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), National Information Technology Agency (NITDA) among other government agencies have endorsed the device.

Mukoro while highlighting the benefits of the device said, “Our children’s interest is shifting to technology, so we have decided to do something to make sure that the education sector benefit from the digital world. Considering the cost of internet data, we designed the device to wok offline. The curriculum is programmed in the app, which contains 75,000 questions and answers. Also, corps members who are posted to schools can benefit from the device, as many of them are not well trained.

“This can also help the child to develop in his or her academics personally as there are no two children that have the same study habit; there are some children that assimilates faster while there are some that only learn at home, With this device, a child can get back home and listen to the teacher and develop questions to solve, and the device can also assist if the child does not get it right. The app has come at a time when the education sector needs help, and it is our hope that it will proffer solutions.

“The device is handmade, thus guaranteeing its durability, and most importantly, all the installed software applications are products of research and development in the Information Technology industry based on the updated Nigerian education curriculum, both the new nine years and the senior secondary school curricula in all subjects.

“We are excited to be a pacesetter in this landmark innovation, which breaks the glass ceiling in our education sector. We strongly believe this is a turning point for domestic growth and development in the sector, Mukoro added.
