Irritated by the comments of President Muhammadu Buhari in United Kingdom (UK) that lots of Nigerian youth are lazy and want everything free, the National President of Youth Wing of Christian Association (YOWICAN), Daniel David Kadzai, has said the Nigerian youth would mobilise voters from all villages in the country to vote for a young leader that knows the value of youths, so that Buhari would respect the Nigerian youth.

In a statement issued yesterday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, Kadzai expressed shocked that a President could lower the image of his youths, who are the brain box and pillars of democracy anywhere in the world before his foreign host, recalling that it was the efforts of the youth to change the leadership of the country that brought the President into office.

He said the youth fought the civil war to keep Nigeria as an indivisible entity and that the country has lost thousands of youths in all the security agencies battling insurgents and other criminalities in the country as a result of poor leadership by leaders that are over 70 years of age.

Kadzai, who challenged the President to tell Nigerians what he achieved in his life on personal merit, pointed out that Buhari joined military on quota system and become president on zoning formula, not on his merit, adding: “We know that his host will be amazed by such comments from the Nigerian President, because his host know the capacity of Nigerians youths in education and other disciplines.
