African parliamentarians hail Dickson’s strides on education

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Africa Region, has commended Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson for his investment in education. The association also mentioned roads, public infrastructure ‎and health projects as some of the governor’s strides deserving commendation.

Gov Represents Hope Of New Nigeria, Says Ekweremadu 

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Africa Region, has commended Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson for his investment in education. The association also mentioned roads, public infrastructure ‎and health projects as some of the governor’s strides deserving commendation.

Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the CPA, Lindiwe Maseko, ‎made the commendation at the weekend in Yenagoa during a courtesy visit to the governor.Led by African Region President, Gladys Kokorwe, the CPA members were in the state capital for their Executive Committee meeting.

Similarly, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, at the weekend, lauded the governor’s developmental efforts, saying he remains a beacon of hope for a new Nigeria.Ekweremadu said this during the commissioning of buildings at the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa.

A statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Francis Ottah Agbo said Ekweremadu was highly impressed with the administration’s contributions towards deepening democratic principles.
