APC aspirant decries poor representation of Edo Central
Edo Central senatorial aspirant, Francis Inegbeneki, has lamented the underdevelopment of Esanland caused by inept leaders and representatives in the state.
Addressing party faithful and royal fathers from the senatorial district during a special visit to enigie of Esan extraction at the palace of HRH Zaiki Solomon Izuware Ojeaga I, the Onogie of Ujiogba, Inegbeneki assured Esan indigenes of better representation if elected.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, who lamented the huge infrastructural deficit and neglect of Esan due to poor representation, appealed for support ahead of the 2019 election.
He expressed confidence in the people of the district to contribute their quota by supporting him to attract meaningful development to the area and ensure quality representation of the Esan race in government.
He, however, expressed hope for the district, despite the poor socio-economic fortune of Esan land caused by past leaders.
Inegbeneki, who was APC senatorial candidate in the last general election narrowly lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer.
