The authorities of the Nigerian Army yesterday said Boko Haram terrorists have adopted a new uniform as a means of identification for their members.

The authorities of the Nigerian Army yesterday said Boko Haram terrorists have adopted a new uniform as a means of identification for their members. It also said troops arrested two suspected members of the sect wearing the new regalia.

A statement issued yesterday by the Spokesman of the Army, Col. Sani Usman, said troops of 22 Brigade Garrison and elements of 3 Battalion while on fighting patrol on Monday in Gima Village in Ngala Local Council made the discovery that “Boko Haram terrorists now have new means of identification.‬”

He said the patrol came in contact with some of the elements of the insurgents, who were fleeing in different directions from the approaching troops.
