Unlike other children, Daniel Akishi Terpase, 16, cannot feed properly due to a severe medical condition in his mouth region, known as ameloblastoma of the mandible, that is, progressive swelling of the jaw.

Daniel has been suffering this ailment for the past 10 years.

According to series of medical reports from different clinical centres, Daniel has an expansile lytic lesion of the lower jaw, involving the region of the mandibular isithmus with numerous bone spickles and associated dental anachy.

The Medical Director/Radiologist, Adeeh Davies Hospital & Scan Centre, Dr. K.O Odunayo, in his report, stated that Daniel requires mandible ameloblastoma resection, free fibula micro vascular with plastic surgery reconstruction.

His uncle, Mr. Terumbul Ande, told The Guardian that family needed assistance from kind hearted Nigerians and corporate orgaisations.

The medical report read in part: “Daniel requires N4.1 million to undergo immediate surgery in Yashoda Hospital, India.”

“After clinical evaluation and investigation, he is supposed to travel to Yashoda Hospital in India for the surgery and the total estimate of the medical bill cost N4.1 million naira”.
