Buhari expresses satisfaction with INEC as he gets accredited in Daura

President -elect, Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction with the state of preparedness by the independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) for the states House of Assembly and governorship polls.

Buhari who was accompanied by a retinue of security aides to the Sarkin Yara, Kofar Baru 003 polling unit in his Daura ward said the ease with which he was accredited spoke volume of the fact that INEC had improved on the accreditation process.
After he was duly accredited at about 8.30 am, the president-elect expressed optimism that other eligible voters would have a hitch free experience in the accreditation exercise.
It took him just two minutes to be accredited using the card reader, compared to the the last presidential poll when it took him about five minutes to satisfy the requirement that would enable him cast his ballot later in the day.
Eligible voters were sighted in various polling units in Daura as early as 7:00am on long queues waiting to take their turns to participate in the accreditation exercise.
