Buhari renews tenure of six chief executive officers

President Muhammadu Buhari has renewed the tenure of six Chief Executive Officers of federal agencies.The president has similarly approved the appointment of two new Chief Executive Officers of Federal Agencies and one Senior Special Assistant.

President Muhammadu Buhari has renewed the tenure of six Chief Executive Officers of federal agencies.The president has similarly approved the appointment of two new Chief Executive Officers of Federal Agencies and one Senior Special Assistant.A statement signed by a Permanent Secretary, General Services, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Olusegun Adekunle, said President Buhari has renewed the appointment of the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dr. Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi.

Oyeyemi is to serve a second and final term of four years with effect, from July 24, 2018.Others are, Dr. Jafaru Alunua Momoh, to serve a second and final term of four years with effect from July 5, 2018 as Chief Medical Director at the National Hospital, Abuja.Dr. Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye Medical Director is to serve a second and final term of four years, with effect, from May 30, 2018 at the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu state.

President Buhari has also reappointed Prof. Eli Jidere Bala as Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria for a second and final term of five years with effect from May 6, 2018.The president okayed appointment of Dr. Mohammed Jibrin as Director General at the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) for second and final term of four years with effect from April 9, 2018, while Prof. Mohammed Haruna continues as Executive Vice Chairman for a second and final term of five years with effect from April 3, 2018 at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure.

The new appointments, according to the statement are Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, Gombe State.Dr. Ali Adamu is appointed Provost for an initial period of four years with effect from May 25, 2018.

Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarrawa State. Dr. Yaya Baba Adamu is appointed Medical Director for an initial period of four years with effect from April 1, 2018.Meanwhile, the Presidency has also approved the appointment of Ambassador Yahaya Lawal as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations. The Appointment is with effect from April 1, 2018.
