Founder and primate of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, Theophilus Olabayo, has cautioned President Mohammadu Buhari against seeking a second term in the forthcoming 2019 general election.

The cleric who commended former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter to Buhari stated that the Coalition for Nigeria Movement does not hold a future for the country.

Olabayo spoke at the 4th annual Theophilus Oluwasanu Olabayo colloquium and 45th church anniversary, tagged: “The impact of prophets in biblical days: lessons for Nigeria.”

According to him, a new Nigeria will soon be born as God would raise a man of purpose who will liberate the nation.

He said: “The Lord told me that the situation will be unbearable but after that a new Nigeria would be born. We shall have a country that every citizen would be proud of.

“Sooner than we think, a man of destiny is about to take the affairs of this country. He will rule according to the instructions of God, like the king Cyrus in the Bible. He will not rule from his own understanding but would be moved by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“The Lord said he is raising a new leader who would lead this country for two-five years and will do the much spoken restructuring Nigerians are asking for. Nigeria is going to have a loose federation with six-seven regions, and vice presidents representing the regions.”

Olabayo who spoke against those he considered fake commercial prophets however warned them to desist from such acts.

“The Lord says He will not allow corrupt leaders, religious fanatics or homosexuals to rule this nation. God will raise a man of destiny for this nation and He would expose some hidden things that would marvel people.

“Fake commercial prophets who are induced financially to speak favorably in support of the government must desist. The judgment and wrath of Yahweh is about to come upon them.”

He mentioned that all existing political parties are the same, stressing that none of them has what it takes to deliver the country from bondage.

“New young leaders with the fear of God will emerge and replace the old corrupt politicians in the political scene. They shall take over the governance of this country and rule with the fear of God.”

The cleric also prophesied that the nation would have states police headed by a Deputy Inspector General in each region.
