Amosun Pledges To Complete All Projects

The Chief Imam of Egbaland, Alhaji Laidi Orunsolu, yesterday, urged Muslim faithful to put into practice, the good virtues they imbibed during the Ramadan period and desist from any form of “unholy” practices.

Orunsolu made the appeal in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, while addressing hundreds of Muslims faithful at the Lantoro prayer ground to mark the Eid-el-Fitr.He dismissed the notion by some Muslims that holiness should only be embraced during Ramadan and after the fasting and they can indulge in any unacceptable practices, describing those who live “dual lives” as unfaithful servants of Allah.

He prayed for peace in Nigeria and President Muhammadu Buhari.Governor Ibikunle Amosun, in his address, sued for peace to reign in the state and the country at large, saying everyone must endeavour to practise good deeds and continue the holy life they started during Ramadan.Amosun promised to complete all ongoing projects his administration had embarked upon before next year.
