Commercial bus knocks street hawker off Apongbon Bridge
A street hawker was on Saturday evening hit by a commercial bus throwing him off the bridge from the top of Apongbon bridge, inward Eko bridge.
Apart from a broken limb, the extent of his injury couldn’t be ascertained immediately but Rapid Response Squad (RRS) officers who were at the scene of the incident applied a first aid treatment on the victim before the arrival of emergency service providers, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) officials, who promptly ferried the man to the hospital.
The bus driver has been arrested and the case has been handed over to the nearest police station in the area.
