Easter leadership conference to address political participation, agricultural sector

All is now set for the El-Shaddai Covenant Ministries Easter Leadership Conference, as it seeks to address entrepreneurial opportunities in the Agricultural chain aw well as political participation among other things.

The conference, with the theme: “Restore”, which holds from March 29 to April 1, 2018, at the Church’s headquarters, 7, Social Club Road, Abule_Egba, Lagos, according to the General Overseer, Dr James Ovbioise James, is crucial at this period of time in the country, as the dwindling economy needs urgent visitation from God to restore all that have been lost in the past years, due to the economic melt down.

James, who spoke at a press conference, ahead of the summit said, the problems faced in this country is depression as most people can not make ends meet, adding that the current economic recession needs urgent intervention in order to restore sanity to the country

He said Nigerians, should, at this point in time take responsibility of their faith, adding that there are opportunities in the country that should be invested in, which is why the church has a great role to play in enlightening people, as it is no longer the era of preaching repentance only, but diversifying and teaching success, health, investment and entrepreneurship among others.

He charged the youths to tap from the opportunities in the agricultural sector, by investing in farming rather than traveling abroad to do menial jobs as “slaves”.‘Nigeria has abundant opportunities youths can tap from and be successful, I don’t know why Nigerians will prefer to be slaves in another man’s country than to be a freeman in their own country. We have lands in this country, our people should go back to farming, they will make money from it because food is expensive, ” he said.

He said diversification to agriculture is key in developing the nation’s economy.Shedding light on the activities lined up for the conference, James said: “There will be two plenary Sessions on Friday Morning while on Saturday Morning, we will have one Plenary Session and a Panel Discussion. There would be Miracle Service on Friday and Saturday Evening. Sunday is set-aside for Celebration Service in the morning capped by an Anointing Service in the Evening.

Speakers at the conference include: Former Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Abraham Adeolu Adeleke, who would discuss isues in leadership and politics, Managing Consultant, ISEL Consulting, Adedoyin Adebayo, Chief Executive Officer, Kinseth Konsult Nig. Ltd, Dr. Akinwale Akinleye and Chief Executive Officer, Metro Agrofood Ltd, Dr. Oyeleke Ajiboye among others.
