Edo speaker bags leadership award
Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto has been conferred with an award in recognition of his leadership qualities.
Publisher of the Mid West Tempo Magazine which gave him the award in Benin City, Emeka Ogbeide, said it honoured the speaker because of his antecedents, pedigree and sagacious commitment to legislative business.
Ogbeide stressed that it was the media house’s humble way of acknowledging outstanding performance.
It was noted that Adjoto who has set an unprecedented record of being the first lawmaker to be re-elected three times to the House of Assembly from the Akoko-Edo ethnic extraction has continued to give a good account of himself and enjoys tremendous support from his constituents.
Adjoto thanked the organizers of the event for the honour, pledging that the award would spur the him to rededicate himself to the service of the people of Edo State, particularly his immediate constituency.
