EEDC explains loss of power supply, tender apologies

Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) says they are not responsible for the prevailing power outage in some parts of Aba, the head of communications, Emeka Eze said yesterday.

Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) says they are not responsible for the prevailing power outage in some parts of Aba, the head of communications, Emeka Eze said yesterday.

Eze explained that the outage was caused by the Transmission Company of Nigeria’s (TCN) Breaker Failure at its Aba station last weekend, which disrupted power supply to their customers being served power from its IGI 33KV at Opobo Road 11KV Feeders. He assured consumers that the TCN has been making efforts to address and rectify this fault to enable power supply be restored to the affected customers, adding that they sincerely regret all inconveniences this has caused.
