EFCC seeks synergy with anti-graft agencies, CSOs
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is ready to collaborate with sister agencies and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the fight against corruption.
Mr. Tony Orilade, EFCC’s Head, Public Interface Unit, stated this in Abuja, yesterday.
Speaking at a workshop themed, ‘Voice Against Corruption’, organised by Cleen Foundation, Orilade said the EFCC needs the support of other partners to win the war against corruption.
He alleged there was a plan by looters to create divisions among anti-graft agencies and called for a new approach to the campaign.
The Executive Director, Cleen Foundation, Dr. Benson Olugbuo, blamed underdevelopment on corruption.
The President, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Mr. Glory Idehen, meanwhile, has advised the Federal Government to deploy technology in its quest to tackle corruption and achieve its policy on ease of doing business in Nigeria.
