Eleven PDP govs to attend Ekiti’s commissioning of projects
Ekiti State government has said that today’s commissioning ceremony of the Adunni Olayinka Women Development Centre and some other projects initiated and completed by Governor Ayodele Fayose-led administration would be low-keyed out of respect for the six medical consultants who lost their lives in a motor accident earlier in the week.
The state Commissioner for Information, Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Lanre Ogunsuyi, who made this known while addressing the press in Ado Ekiti, said that the event would be attended by 11 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Gombe, Eboyi, Enugu, Delta, Rivers, Taraba Cross Rivers and Ondo states.
The commissioner listed other projects to be commissioned to include the De-Head (Bawa Estate)- Adetiloye road that was constructed at a cost of N782,021,436.00, Awedele-Secretariat dual carriage way completed with streetlight at a cost of N499,306,289.59 and the
2,300 seater gallery in the palace of the Ewi of Ado Ekiti.
