Eminent lawyer, Pa Adeniran, passes on at 94

Distinguished lawyer, Pa Adedapo Adeniran, has passed on at the age of 94.

In a statement yesterday confirming the demise of the prolific writer and classical historian, his daughter, Oyinade Adeniran-Elliot, said he was with his wife, Dr. Florence Adeniran (nee Martins) aged 88, and other family members when he transited.

“Our beloved father, Adedapo Adeniran, slept in the Lord on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

“We, the immediate family, are planning a befitting funeral, which will be followed by a reception in his honour. To this end, we intend to compile tributes from friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances and those whose lives he touched during his lifetime,” she stated.

Until his death, the accomplished lawyer was a devoted member of Kings College Lagos Old Boys Association, with the interest of the school very much at heart.
