Festac Rotary Club supports less privileged

The Rotary Club of Festac Town, Lagos, led by its President, Felix Nnamezie, in company of the Rotary District Governor, District 9110, Lagos and Ogun states, Kola Sodipo, and other members of the club recently visited Beth Torry Home for Mentally Challenged and Handicapped Children in Amuwo-Odofin, where they donated a refrigerator and some food items and offered scholarship awards to two indigent students of Foresight International School, Festac Town, during Sodipo’s visit.

The accession was also used to planttrees in the area.

Speaking during the event, Nnamezie commended Sodipo for the visit and promised to continue to support the needy in society, adding: “Every Rotarian made a little contribution as part of the dues we pay every year to support the club.

“We also get funding from corporate organisations and have some individuals in our environment that we write to source for funds.”
