Mr Shehu Zaki, the new State Zonal Commander, Federal Road Safely Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, on Friday advised his officers to demonstrate high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

Zaki gave the advice during a courtesy visit to Sango-Ota Command.

He said that adherence to high ethical standards was crucial to improving sanity on roads.

“As a law enforcement agency, we will not shy away from our mistakes and we will never seek to cover them.

“The days of being killed by articulated vehicles on the road must stop through our actions,” he said.

The FRSC boss urged the officers be alert and attentive while on duty to enable them enforce minimum safety standard on roads.

Zaki also advised the officers to desist from any misconduct that could tarnish the image of the commission.

Ealier, Mr Leye Adegboyega, the Unit Commander of FRSC in Sango-Ota, had appealed to his officers to support the new zonal commander for the overall success of the zone.

Adegboyega described Zaki as someone with vast experience on the field which he would make to bear on his new posting.
