Yes indeed, Gambians have already “come together to solve this matter without undue external interference”, when they unanimously voted to remove him from power after they had lived with his autocratic style of governance for 22 years. He should not be allowed to create any further crisis capable of causing deaths and even more sufferings to Gambians. The military, never a respecter of democratic constitutions, must be warned against interfering in the crisis. Barrow can kiss his mandate goodbye if the military should step in. That could further worsen the already bad situation. It has happened before in Nigeria.
