The Coalition on Conflict Resolution and Human Rights in Nigeria yesterday alleged plot by foreign agents to undermine the country’s anti-insurgency war through unhealthy reports.

It accused notable foreign media outfits of projecting the activities of Boko Haram terrorists with a hidden agenda.

The group’s national president, Maxwell Gowon, said in a press conference held in Abuja that the news agencies in question were poised at destabilising the nation through “false, malicious, unsubstantiated and fabricated writings to frustrate the Federal Government” in its quest to defeat insurgency in the North East and parts of the federation.
