Ife Klub 1 is to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a public lecture with the theme : Yorubas Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, in Ile Ife,Osun State on Saturday, December 9, 2017
The President , Chief Adebisi Ogundipe, in a statement, said two eminent Yoruba personalities – Prof. Banjo Akintoye and Chief Leman Alabi – will speak on the theme of the lecture holding at Oba Okunade Sijuwade Memorial Hall in Enuwa, Ile Ife at noon.
The occasion will also witness launch of Phase Two of the Klub House Fund and investiture of new patrons and matrons. They include Oba Adebisi Fatunmise and Oba Hezekiah Owolola.
Ahmed Ipoola Omisore, Chief Kayode Odunyemi and Moses Olaobaju will also be admitted into the Klub’s Hall of Fame.
