Isoko union, Adjogbe mourn Ibru
Isoko Development Unioin (IDU) and the Executive Director of Projects (EDP) nominee of the Niger Delta Development Cocmmission (NDDC), Samuel Ajenakevwe Adjogbe, have commiserated with the Ibru family of Agbarha Otor and entire Urhobo ethnic nationality on the death of the foremost businessman, Olorogun Michael Christopher Onajirhevbe Ibru, who died at recently at the age of 85years.
IDU’s president Chief Iduh Amadhe said the Isoko people deeply mourn the passage of a philanthropist, nationalist, humanist and educationist who was the patriarch of the famous Ibru family.
He added: “Olorogun Michael Ibru employed many Isoko people in his numerous businesses. He was a great friend of the Isoko people. We pray God to grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and that the late business leader rest in the bossom of the Lord.”
“Adjogbe joins the family and the Urhobo nation and other Nigerians in mourning the founder and Chairman of the Ibru Organization,” according to a condolence message signed by Chief Efe Olowu onn his behalf.
Adjogbe added: “All I can say is I’m deeply shocked to hear about the incident and we Urhobo indeed have lost an iconic treasure. I stand by the family at this challenging moment through prayers and sympathize with the Urhobo nation.”
