Jega to deliver lecture on election at UNILAG
Former Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, would on Thursday deliver a lecture at the University of Lagos.
The lecture is titled: Prospects and challenges of involving volunteers in Nigeria’s electoral process.
A former Federal Commissioner for Works, Lateef Okunnu would chair the event, which would hold at the Julius Berger Auditorium Hall.
The role of volunteers in reducing the cost of campaign and election financing would also be discussed at the event.
The lecture is being organised by the University of Lagos Muslim Community (UMC), and two other organisations.
They are, the Muslims in South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) and the University of Lagos Muslim Alumni (UMA).
