The General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi, has described this year’s edition of ‘Celebrate the Comforter’ annual convention, which held at the United Palace, New York, United States of America, as a success.

Briefing reporters at a press conference, which took place at the Sheraton Hotel and Suites, Ikeja, Rev. Mother Ajayi, who is also the founder, Esther Ajayi Foundation, said the 2018 edition, which was graced by former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi and Bashorun Dele Momodu, recorded a massive turnout of faithful from both the Celestial Church of Christ and Cherubim and Seraphim.

According to her, “we prayed and fasted before the event and we knew it was going to be a success but I was overwhelmed with the turnout because the hall was filled and there was even an overflow of people.”

On the third edition of the event, the first time the convention will be taking place in Nigeria and slated next year for Lagos, Rev. Mother Ajayi said she was happy her efforts to unite the Celestial Church of Christ and Cherubim and Seraphim Church had started yielding fruits.

The shepherd in charge of Genesis Model International, CCC, Prophet Israel Ogundipe, said the convention had proved that white garment churches were not fetish but believe in Jesus Christ.

The highlight of the gathering was the conferment of honours on Reverend Mother Ajayi as the Grand Matron of the Nigerian Super Eagles Supporters Club by the club members and officials.

According to the president of Supporters Club, Vincent Okumagba, the club bestowed the honour on Rev. Mother Ajayi because of her exploits in Christendom and other areas of life, especially her penchant for philanthropy.
