The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), yesterday, rescued a middle-aged male destitute that got stuck in the mud around the Third Mainland Bridge.

The agency said it was yet to identify the victim. It said the man’s buttocks had been seen sticking out of the sand and that he might have been stuck for over 24 hours before help arrived. He was thereafter moved to Gbagada General Hospital for medical treatment.

On hand to lend support during the rescue were the Lagos State Fire Service and the Lagos State Ambulance Services.

The General Manager, LASEMA, Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu, advised Lagosians to imbibe safe practices.
