The 2018 Afrikanwatch Media annual lecture, award, conferment and the unveiling of Afrikanwatch National Memoir titled “Did our founding fathers have a dream of united Nigeria” will hold on April 7, 2018 in Lagos. According to the Chairman and the Editor-in-chief, Ndubueze Joseph Ejiofor and Mark Columbus Orgu, the duo noted that Anthony Adefuye would chair the event while legal practitioner; Tunji Abayomi would deliver the lecture.

Meanwhile, it was a sad moment for the editor-in-chief, Mark Columbus Orgu who lost his father, Late Pa Chukwuma Johnson Orgu at the age of 82. He died last week at his hometown, Aragba-Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta. President General of Orogun Kingdom, Olorogun Benson Ndakara, admonished the children to see their father’s death as an act of God. In the same vein, a former retired Assistant Director in the Department of State Security service and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dennis Amachree and Mike Ozekhome also expressed their sympathies.
The family would make public the burial arrangements soon.
