NAPPS holds confab tomorrow in Rivers
No fewer than 3,500 delegates are billed to attend the 11th yearly conference of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) in Rivers State.
A joint statement by the National Publicity Secretary/Chairman, Mobilisation and Contact Committee, Bishop Opukeme and the South-South President of NAPPS, Martins Osakue, made available to journalists in Benin City yesterday, said Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State would be the special guest of honour.
The two-day event, scheduled to begin tomorrow, November 15, 2017, has as theme, “Funding education in a volatile economy.”
The statement added that Director, Centre for Educational Development, Federal Ministry of Education, Dr. Adun Afolabi, would deliver a paper on “The Mandatory Continuing Education Programme for Proprietors.”
