The Governing Council of the Federal University, Dutsinma, has approved the appointment of Aliyu Dalha Kankia, as new Registrar of the institution.

The decision was reached during the council’s 6th meeting held recently. The council said Kankia would occupy the office for a period of five years with effect from June 1, 2016.

In a release by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Habibu Garba Matazu, the council said the new registrar had already assumed office.
