The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Niger State Chapter, yesterday, cleared 61 aspirants, including three women and a student for the party’s House of Assembly primaries holding next week.

They were presented the provisional clearance certificate at the PDP state secretariat by former Minister of Aviation, Alhaji Bashir Yuguda, who is the Chairman, screening committee.

According to Yuguda, represented by his secretary, Mr. Sunday Zoaka, the aspirants were screened in line with the guidelines provided by the national secretariat.

Speaking, the State PDP chairman, Barrister Tanko Beji said the clearance was successful, with eight of the aspirants unopposed.”

Those vying unopposed are Ibrahim Ndama (Kacha), Salihu Manko (Bida I), Mohammed Nasiru (Kotangora II), Abdullahi Lawal (Mariga), Jacob Gana (Lavun),  Abdullahi Mamman (Wushishi), Umar Jibrin (Mashegu) and Mohammed Gazhe (Edati).
