Ex-Militants Give Danjuma Seven Days Ultimatum To Apologise

REPENTANT Niger Delta freedom fighters have demanded an apology from the former Minister of Defence, retired General Theophilus Danjuma, over his alleged call for the arrest of ex-millitant  leaders within seven days or face their wrath.

The ex-millitants group also declared Danjuma a persona non- grata in the region for making such provocative comment by calling for the arrest of frontline militant leaders, including Mujahid Asari Dokubo and Government Ekpemudo, always known as Tompolo.

The group said in the statement in Port Harcourt that Danjuma was among northerners who had become very comfortable in life because of the oil money from the region.

A statement signed by the president of the forum of leaders of the various militant camps called the Leadership, Peace and Cultural Development Initiative, Reuben Wilson said, Danjuma was courting the trouble of former militants for daring to call for the arrest of those he called the Niger Delta heroes.
