Okowa commends PDP empowerment programmes

Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has applauded the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) empowerment programme across wards in Ika North East Local Government Area (LGA).

Speaking at Ute Okpu, where more than 200 persons received cash, welding machines, hair dressing equipment, etc., Okowa said the initiative promotes party unity and cohesion.

He said the PDP in Ika North East has brought hope to thousands and helped in bringing his administration’s prosperity agenda to the people.On the forthcoming local government election, he said the party would continue to campaign across LGAs to solicit the people’s support. He said victory is sure because the PDP has worked hard and its infrastructural development speaks volume.
