The palace of the Olu of Warri was agog with festivities yesterday as His Royal Highness, Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli, installed five new chiefs.

Among the 21 penciled down, included the former governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, and former Vice Chancellor of University of Benin, Prof. Grace Alele-Williams.

The Warri monarch used the ceremony to again preach peaceful coexistence amongst ethic nationalities in the state, saying the 21 new chiefs with diverse titles would be installed every weekend until the end of November.

He said so much misinformation had been spread on the social media about the new chiefs and the title that would be given to them and urged those prescribing one title or the other on Internet to stop wasting their time.
