The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has enjoined President Muhammadu Buhari to pay more attention to the ongoing killings in the land instead of his re-election bid.

In a statement yesterday in Benin City, its National President, Rev. (Dr.) Felix Omobude, condemned the latest mayhem in Plateau and Zamfara states.

He called on the Federal Government to be more committed to the safety of lives and property of Nigerians.

Omobude noted that any government that could not protect its people does not deserve to remain in office.

Also, the Assistant Parish Priest, St. Peters Catholic Church, Ugbor, Benin City, Ven. Rev. Fr. Jude Oriah, asked the government to face the challenge headlong.

He said concerned authorities should be bold to speak the truth all times, as they attempt to check the insecurity in the country.
