Political Associates, Others, Receive Sambo In Kaduna

It was a show of solidarity, love and respect, when friends and political associates of former Vice President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo and his wife, Amina Sambo, defiled the heavy rain fall to give them a heroic welcome back to Kaduna State.

The friends and political associates largely of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were led by the former governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero; the party’s state chairman, Chief Abubakar Gaiya Haruna and the Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Shehu Tahir to receive Sambo at the Kaduna International Airport.

The former Vice President and his wife, who arrived the airport at exactly 6:30pm on Friday, in a presidential plane met thousands of well wishers who trooped out to welcome them inside the rain chanting welcome songs.
Some of his associates, who spoke with journalists, expressed confidence that the return of Sambo to Kaduna State will begin another phase of restructuring and repositioning PDP for 2019.
