STAKEHOLDERS in the power sector are set to gather at the forthcoming Power Nigeria conference slated for November 3-5, 2015 at the Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the organisers, the fourth edition of the conference and exhibition has already recorded 14 per cent increase in both exhibitor numbers and floor space, as conglomerates such as Skipper Electric, Schneider, Philips Nigeria and Sakr Power are all taking part to further bolster their growth strategies for the country.

The forum will therefore serve as a comprehensive platform for international exhibitors to showcase their latest technological developments in the power generation, transmission and distribution, lighting, renewable, nuclear and water sectors.

The Group President, SkipperSeil Group, Jitender Sachdeva, said: “With current efforts by the National Independent Power Project (NIPP) and Independent Power Projects (IPPs), we predict a robust power supply in Nigeria that will cross 6,000 to 7,000 megawatts in the next eight to nine months.. With such growth on hand, we feel that Skipper’s product business is poised to grow rapidly in the year ahead.”
