The Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Stolen Public Property, has paraded two persons for giving false information to government regarding stolen funds.

Parading the suspects in Abuja yesterday, Head of Media and Communication of the panel, Lucie-Ann Laha, said the duo was discovered to be fake whistle blowers after they gave information regarding a businessman, which turned out to be false.

“These people came to us claiming they had information about some stolen property. We got the clearance to go and check, but when we got there, we found nothing. They have misled government into deploying resources on a completely false information. Therefore, the courts would determine their matter.”

The two fake whistle blowers, Muhammed Sanusi and Prince Jeff Movie, both claimed they had information, which the latter, Prince, supplied to the authorities, but they did not know what happened, when nothing was discovered in the house of the person that they claimed was in possession of stolen public fund.

According to Ovie, he only reported the matter to the panel, with the hope that the money would be found and he could get something from it, but he was detained instead, when nothing was found in the house he alleged the money was kept.
