Editor-in-chief and Publisher of South-South International magazine, Ovie Edomi has been conferred with a honorary doctorate degree in theology by the Bishop Festus Theological University in Delta State.

In a congratulatory letter signed by Festus Nteile, presiding bishop of Christ Freedom Embassy, he described Edomi as a journalist of over three decades, whose establishment has produced great soldiers of God.

Edomi who is also the immediate past president of League of Maritime Editors and Publishers and publicity secretary of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria said he considers the honour as spiritually significant and very important.
