Renal Dialysis Centre bags NHEA award

The Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) 2018, considered the leading indigenous healthcare award that honours excellence, innovation and quality improvement in the nation’s healthcare system, was held recently.

The Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) 2018, considered the leading indigenous healthcare award that honours excellence, innovation and quality improvement in the nation’s healthcare system, was held recently.

The award, which brought together various stakeholders in the health industry in both public and private sector across the country, according to the organisers received over 2,500 nominations in various categories.

Renal Dialysis Centre is the recipient of the dialysis service provider award for the year, an award the organization won in the previous edition in 2017.Founder/CEO, Renal Dialysis Centre, Dr. John Okoh, while speaking at the award ceremony, the recognition is a call to do more in the area of dialysis and renal care as the reward for a job well done is more work.

Okoh reiterated that Renal Dialysis was on a mission to “provide accessible, affordable and quality dialysis for people with kidney disease through individualized care to improve quality of life. It is our intention to ensure no person has to travel more than 10km to access dialysis care.”He acknowledged the contributions of Renal Dialysis medical board headed by Prof. Babatunde Salako, at ensuring patient’s care and wellbeing remain on the front burner.
