Rotary Club visits SOS Children’s Village

Members of the Rotary of Club of Ewu Tuntun, District 9110, at the weekend paid a visit to the SOS Children’s Village in Isolo, Lagos State to donate food items to the home.

Members of the Rotary of Club of Ewu Tuntun, District 9110, at the weekend paid a visit to the SOS Children’s Village in Isolo, Lagos State to donate food items to the home. They were led by their president, Rotn. Victor Olutade Olowo.

According to the president, the visit was used as a service project to give back to the society and less privileged children, while also using the occasion to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of their members, Rotn. Yomi Owolabi.

“In furtherance of our mandate of being a gift to the world and making a difference in our society, we have come to identify with the village and seek ways by which we can be partners in progress through sponsorship of some children in the SOS Village. We are deeply impressed by the high standard of professionalism in running the home and are motivated to do more,” he said.

Receiving the gifts, the Sponsorship and Fundraising coordinator of the SOS Village, Anuoluwapo Shonowo Dosunmu, thanked the club for their gesture in support the homes and other Rotary Clubs in the district for their regular donations to the village.
