Saraki meets Babangida in Minna
Senate President Bukola Saraki yesterday visited former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, at his Uphill mansion in Minna, Niger State.
Saraki arrived home of the former military leader at exactly 4:25 p.m. and the meeting commenced possibly after exchange of pleasantries.
Journalists, who had laid siege at the gate, were prevented from entering but about 15 minutes later, were told by security personnel in the house to vacate the gate, describing the visit as a private visit.
Some 90 minutes later, the Senate President was driven out of the house in a convoy of nine vehicles at 5:50 p.m.
He also refused to grant interview to journalists at the airport in Maikunkele, Minna, where he finally departed from Minna.
