Senate summons Emefiele, 13 others over $13.9bn capital flight

The Senate has summoned the Minister of Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, and 12 others over a $13.92b capital flight.
They are expected to appear before the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, next week.
Chairman of the committee, Rafiu Ibrahim (APC, Kwara South), in a statement, named the others as Dr. Pascal Dozie, Ahmed Dasuki, Gbenga Oyebode, Babatunde Folawiyo, Colonel Sani Bello and Victor Odili.
Organisations summoned by the committee are: Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank and Diamond Bank.
He said summon of the affected persons was sequel to the Senate’s resolution of September 27, 2016, titled, ‘Unscrupulous Violation of the Foreign Exchange (Monitoring and Miscellaneous) Act’.
The Senate, yesterday, also approved extension of the validity period of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination results to three academic years.

THESE COMMERCIAL BANKS ARE A CONDUIT TO CBN TO BUY FOREX AT N288 TO A DOLLAR AND SELL THE SAME AT MORE THEN 400-450 NAIRA TO A DOLLAR TO THEIR UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS OVERSEAS THROUGH THE ATM MACHINES.
GODWIN EMEFIELE IS AIDING AND ABETTING THESE NIGERIAN COMMERCIAL BANKS IN THE FOREX FRAUD ON DAILY BASIS THUS PERPETUATING THE EXISTENCE OF BLACK MARKET FOR HIS OWN GAINS.
EMEFIELE IS THE REAL EVIL BEHIND THE EXISTING HIGH RATES OF NAIRA AGAINST DOLLAR AND POUND AMONG OTHER CURRENCIES. THIS FOREX FRAUDSTER GODWIN EMEFIELE, MUST BE INVESTIGATED THOROUGHLY, CAUGHT, DISMISSED AND JAILED.
