Three health workers kidnapped in Taraba

They were working with developmental partners, Geo-Reference Infrastructure and Demographics Data for Development (GRID3) E-Health Africa, in collaboration with the SmoH and the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped three staff of the Taraba State Primary Healthcare Development Agency: Jatau Bwanu, Nyifwa Adamu and Success, in Takum Local Government.

They were working with developmental partners, Geo-Reference Infrastructure and Demographics Data for Development (GRID3) E-Health Africa, in collaboration with the SmoH and the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.

The staff, it was learnt, were collating data for evidence-based planning for development across the state, when they were abducted at Kashimbilla village.Confirming the report, the Executive Secretary of the agency, Aminu Jauro Hassan, said the kidnappers are yet to reach out to the victims’ families or the agency for ransom.
