The United States (U.S.) government yesterday urged Nigerians and other countries to disregard the campaign statements of American Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, saying the U.S. would remain a home for all.

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Ambassador Samantha Power, while addressing staff and students of American University of Nigeria (AUN) in Yola, Adamawa State yesterday, assured that her country cannot indulge in issues capable of causing disunity and disharmony in the world.

Power said that instead of building walls, the U.S. would build bridges and pillars of unity to ensure that those that need her assistance were given such.

“U.S. will remain a home for all.
